Creating a Letterhead in Document Management

Put the finishing touch on your documents with a customized letterhead. Easily create, insert, and edit your company's letterhead with UDA Document Management.

Insert letterhead

  1. In an open document, click the Letterhead button on the Document Management toolbar.

  2. Select Add Letterhead Graphic from the menu that appears. Your letterhead will be inserted on the first page of your ConstructionSuite document.

Delete letterhead

  1. In an open document, click the Letterhead button on the Document Management toolbar.  

  2. Select Delete Letterhead Graphic from the menu that appears. Your letterhead will be deleted from your ConstructionSuite document.

Customize letterhead

  1. In an open document, click the Letterhead button on the Document Management toolbar.  

  2. Select Customize Master Letterhead Graphic.

  3. ConstructionSuite will open a master document with the letterhead at the top.

  4. Edit and format letterhead as desired.

  5. Click Save and Close Master Template. This letterhead will be used whenever you choose to insert a letterhead in a ConstructionSuite document.

& NOTE: You will need to re-insert the letterhead graphic in the current document to see new customizations.

  1. ConstructionSuite will automatically update the letterhead graphic in all documents, including previously saved documents.

& NOTE: In previous versions, double-clicking on the letterhead graphic would open the file for editing and all changes would be saved to the master graphic. However, in this version, you must click the Letterhead button on the Document Management toolbar and select Customize Master Letterhead Graphic to make global changes to the letterhead.
