Once the Bill of Materials is created and saved from your Envisioneer rendering, it can be used to create a UDA Estimate, complete with categories, subcategories, and items with associated quantities, units, and costs, depending on the amount of information stored in Envisioneer.
Open ConstructionSuite by clicking the desktop icon or by going to Start > Programs > UDA Technologies > UDA ConstructionSuite.
Click the Estimating tab.
Click the Blank estimating folder.
Open a blank estimate by double-clicking on the Blank Estimate icon.
Select a project from the Project Select form, or create a new project for your estimate.
Go to File > CAD Import > Import Cadsoft Envisioneer File . The Import Cadsoft Material List form will open.
Click the Browse button to locate the file you created during the Cadsoft export process.
Click OK to import the file. A message will appear indicating that you should close all other programs. Ensure that all of your work is saved in the open programs, and click OK on this message to continue.
The information will be imported into your UDA Estimate.
A message will appear once the import has completed. Click OK.
Save the estimate by going to File > Save As.
