UDA Enhances Canadian Features

UDA Technologies recently enhanced the canadian components of UDA ConstructionSuite by improving the calculation of Canadian Sales Tax for GST, PST, and HST. Additional changes include enhanced integration wih QuickBooks Canada versions, Provincial multipliers to calculate material, equipment and labor in Canadian dollars, and the ability to build estimates in metric units when using the optional Metric Construction costbooks from RS Means.

When paying bills and writing checks in QuickBooks, ConstructionSuite will give you the option to automatically create lien waivers, choose transactions and vendors, and print selected documents.

ConstructionSuite 2009 Premier/Catalyst users and above with TotalCare membership and QuickBooks 2007 or higher can now benefit from advanced Insurance and Certificate Tracking directly in UDA Estimating and QuickBooks. When paying bills and writing checks in QuickBooks, ConstructionSuite will warn you if workman's insurance or any required certificate has lapsed or expired, give you the option to update the certificate and/or delete the transaction, and record the warnings to the history log.
